A players conditioning is crucial on the field. Soccer is a game of constant action and movement. Getting winded early is detrimental and that is why we also put a focus on building the players strength and conditioning.

I began playing soccer when I was 4 years old. I have plenty of experience with high-level play as I participated in club/travel soccer for 7 years. Throughout that time, I volunteered as a coach for soccer camps and assisted my coach with his younger team. I currently play intramural soccer at SJSU, and became fully licensed and certified to coach. While I have played all positions, I prefer and am most knowledgeable with center-mid, outside-mid, and winger. I’m looking forward to helping you improve your game!

Hello! My name is Ricky Zhu and I have been coaching for a little over two years. I’ve coached kids with Soccer Shots ages 2-8 as well as my own competitive U9 team in Honolulu with Hawaii United FC.

I’ve coached at soccer camps and done private sessions over the last couple years with kids ages 5-17. I have played internationally and in the U.S. for over 15 years, and now want to pursue teaching kids how to play and love the game! I am an extremely energetic coach, and while I love for it to be a fun environment, I prioritize improvement and focus on the beautiful sport of soccer.
